Apothecary - Pot. Bromide
Potassium bromide (KBr) is a salt, widely used as an anticonvulsant and a sedative in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
This jar is handpainted using underglazes on porcelain. The design is consistent with those found on 19th century apothecary jars. The terminology used is what would have been found on apothecary jars of the era.
